What should be done after reassembling a laptop, but before installing the battery or AC adapter?
There are a lot of chances to drop the laptop on the floor and may get pieces. This may happen due to many reasons such as poor handling, or accidents, etc. And so, there are many occasions that we need to reassemble all the parts of the laptop. Since this device is very sensitive, the person who reassembles the laptop should have good skill and he or she must be an expert to do such things. While doing this reassembling, greater care has to be given.
In this topic, we are going to discuss what should be done before installing the adapter or battery and after reassembling the laptop.
1.First, re-examine the problem.
This the first step that we check immediately after reassembling the laptop. This step is the most important and crucial one. This step must check all the reassembling is done in the right way and is okay. There may be parts of the laptop that may get damaged and the aim is to remove that and check that work is the right way. This step checks that the initial problem has been solved or not.
For example, the damage was the misplacing of the keyboard. So after finishing this step, this ensures that the keyboard is in the right place now.
If this step does not give the perfect result, it is necessary to do the reassembling the things the second time.
- Shaking the laptop.
If the first step is completed well, that is the initial problem is cleared, then we enter into the next step. At this stage, the laptop will shake very well to check that all the components are fit well. This process should be handled adequately, the shaking must be gentle and it won’t cause another part of the laptop to get damaged. If any shaking or any loose detected by doing so, this step will repeat to fix all those problems. Otherwise, it will cause some problems later.
- Inspect every bit and piece
Sometimes we want to find any looseness when shaking the laptop even if they not in the right place. So this must be tested by inspecting every element in the laptop to check whether they are in the right place. This checking is a visual inspection and can be done with the use of a checklist. Some of the elements that should look are the keyboard, ports, battery sockets, and the motherboards. And also loop up the place that we worked very well.
- The power supply unit testing.
The next step is to test the power supply unit After checking every component in the laptop. This is important since this is the component that receives the electricity from the power socket to the laptop. During this stage, check the fuse and all other components are in the correct place. This step will handle carefully because there may be a chance to occur fire breakouts or shocks since this part is so sensitive. This procedure needs an electrician who is an expert because any carelessness may lead to big after-effects. So to perform this step one requires a voltmeter and a tester.
5.Blow the laptop
After doing all the steps described above the laptop will be blown clearly. If one confirms that the laptop is ready, he will carefully blow it off with any dust blower or something else. Usually, it uses a dust blower that produces a stream of fast air and it is directed into the inside of the laptop. After clearing all the dust inside the laptop, the next area is the keyboard area. The air is now directed towards the keyboard area and makes sure that it gets rids of all the dust and dirt.

- Test the power
The last step is to test the power. We complete this process by just testing the power. Now the battery is fixed in the right position and then switch on the laptop by pressing the power button. Then perform different kinds of operations such as playing music, typing, connecting the laptop to the Wi-Fi network, and then look at how the laptop behaves.
